CENTRAL CITY – Brenda Faye Vaught, 84, of Central City, died on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 7:13PM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro. Ms. Vaught was born April 8, 1941 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and a member of The Refuge Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vaught; and parents, Ray and Edith Maddox; and siblings, Donald Maddox, Kenneth Maddox, and Jo Ann Hilburn.

She is survived by her children, Terry Vaught, Kathy (Phillip) Greene, and Michael Vaught; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and siblings, Sonja (Ronnie) Vincent, Linda (Charlie) Jones, Sheila (Dennis) Nolan, and Rick (Kim) Maddox.

Graveside Services will be Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly with Bro. Phillip Greene officiating. Burial to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
