POWDERLY – Bobby Jefferson Jones, Sr., 78, of Powderly, died Monday, December 27, 2021, at 9:15AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital.  Mr. Jones was born December 30, 1942, in Muhlenberg County.  He was a railroad track maintenance worker for ICG, L&N.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Virginia Jones; daughter, Karen Jones; and brother, Eugene Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Jarvis Jones; children, Lauria (Duane) Zackery, Bobbie Jennifer (Brian) Myers, and Bobby (Jessica) Jones, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita (Scott) Brown and Judy (Freddie) Crick; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Travis Fox officiating.  Burial in Memorial Gardens in Powderly.  Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
