Beech Creek- Betty Lenora Rose, 85, of Beech Creek died Saturday, December 29, 2019 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville. She was born in Weir on May 10, 1934 and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She lived in Beech Creek with her son. Ms. Rose loved gardening, flowers, birds, and loved working with the sack lunch ministry. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Rose; parents, Gilbert and Edna Elizabeth Sweeney. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (Tom) Merman; son, Richard (Teresa) Rose; grandchildren, Chris (Brittany) Rose, Brandon (Brandy) Rose, Johnathan Aubrey, James (Rebecca) Aubrey; great grandchildren, Anthony Aubrey, Andrew Aubrey, Macy Aubrey, Brayden Rose, Raleigh Rose, Cayden Rose, Hayden Rose, and River Rose. Funeral services will be private with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Memorial contributions can be made to Western Kentucky Hospice in Owensboro.
