BREMEN – Barbara Ann Hobgood Settle, 82, of Bremen, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 2:18PM at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mrs. Settle was born November 20, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan. She was a wrapper in the meat department at IGA, and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She loved her family, her church, and her dog Mistie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Settle; parents John and Mildred Hobgood; and brother Carl Hopgood. She is survived by her son, Terry (Lisa) Settle of Bremen; daughter Pam (Keith) McRoy of Bremen; grandchildren Kecia (Scott) Blake, Kristen (Jonathan) Stapp, Travis Settle, Stormie (Jonathon) Huckleberry, and Amy (Roger) Brasher; twelve great-grandchildren; brother John Wayne Hobgood; sister Nadia Key; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, February 15, 2019, at 12:00 noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Bill Bursztynski officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
