Greg and Lori, I was deeply heartbroken when I read the Martinsville Bulletin Obituary of your Mother's passing. She created such wonderful memories for me and always made me feel as "one of her children" growing up with you all in Ridgeway.Sitting around the kitchen table talking,laughing and enjoying her famous Peach Daquiri's! That infectious smile and laughter were always present in her home and I never left there without a smile on my face and a happy heart. Greg Dad & Cheryl called me tonight when they saw the post in the paper. I am so sorry for your loss. You're mom was such a wonderful person in my life. I got to know June in the last 5 years after meeting her daughter Lori. She always looked after others and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially around the holidays. I know she really enjoyed Kentucky basketball. A few years back my WVU Mountaineers beat her Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA tournament and I took great joy in rubbing it in. June then took great joy in rubbing it in the next year when Kentucky thumped WVU. June I just want let you know that I will take care of your daughter until she comes to see you again. You will be missed.
