SACRAMENTO – William Ray “Bootie” Conrad, 73, of Sacramento, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 9:50PM at Riverside Health and Rehab Center in Calhoun. Mr. Conrad was born September 23, 1945, in McLean County. He worked at West Star Logging and was of the Christian faith. He loved having his family around. He was a people person and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He enjoyed horses, log trucks, and riding around looking at job sites. His favorite thing to watch on TV was westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Margie Conrad. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bartlett Conrad; children Tammie (Dennis) Tuttle, Chris (Dana) Conrad, and Terri (John) Miller, all of Sacramento; grandchildren Brandon (Amber) Tuttle, Jonathan (Sarah) Tuttle, Stephen Matthew (Megan) Miller, Jacob (Sharon) Miller, Ross (Cheyenne) Conrad, and Trevor Conrad; great-grandchildren Benjiman, Colton, Jackson, Samuel, Emily-Kate, Eli, and Addilyn; sisters Ruth Schindler, Brenda Maybury, Jo-Nell Robinson, and Mary Crick; and brothers Morton Conrad and Louis Conrad. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 1:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Rev. Nathan Baize officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.
