DUNMOR – Wilda Sue Beasley, 80, of Dunmor, died Monday, May 1, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born October 15, 1942 to the late Melvin and Dorothy Randolph of Greenville. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Roland Memorial Baptist church in Greenville.
She decided to become a nurse and graduated from one of the nursing classes taught at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She worked there after graduating in multiple departments, medical, surgery and grandfathered into respiratory therapy. She retired from the hospital but realized she wasn’t quite ready to give up nursing. She finished her 53 years in healthcare working multiple nursing homes where she touched the lives of many. Her family loved reminiscing with her about coworkers and friends throughout her career.
Sue enjoyed living life and having fun. Shopping and traveling were her favorite things. If you ever needed a last-minute gift, you could always go by her home and grab something. Oh, how she loved the ocean and beach. Really though it didn’t matter where the destination she was always ready for the next adventure. She loved traveling with family, but her most talked about fun times were the trips with friends. She would talk and laugh as she looked at pictures of these many trips.
