Warren Curtis Roe 9/18/2008 CENTERTOWN — Warren Curtis Roe, 87, of Centertown died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Ohio County. He was a retired farmer, a Baptist and a Bronze Star recipient in World War II. He was a member of the Central City Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Warren Curtis Roe Jr.; and three sisters, Marjorie Hughes, Geleta Little and Betty Craig. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Josephine Ellis Roe of Centertown; two sons, Wallace E. (Camille) Roe of Bloomington, Ind., and J. Michael (Kelly) Roe of Centertown; and three grandchildren, Brandon B. Roe, Sara K. Roe and Michael L. Roe. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. William Holiday officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
