CENTRAL CITY – Walter Walker Scott, 86, of Central City, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his home. Mr. Scott was born December 1, 1932, in Harlan County. He was a retired plumber and U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Versie Scott; sisters Faye and Lorene; and brothers Denny and James. He is survived by his daughter, Vada (Steve) Level; son Carl Scott; grandchildren Jennifer Nelson, Steven (Jessica) Level, and Allen and Jesse Scott; great-grandchildren Kaitlin and Madison Nelson, Jason and Brandon Scott, Easton and Oriah Level, Jarret and Jaya Rice, and Olivia and Nathan Scott; brother Archie Scott; and sisters Vada and Francis. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Clifford Lovell officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
