CENTRAL CITY – Wallace Ray Martin, 83, of Central City, died November 6, 2022, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Mr. Martin was born September 8, 1939. He attended Living Word and New Emmanuel Church. He retired from working for the Housing Authority and was an Air Force veteran. He loved fishing, grilling and sports. His favorite teams were the Boston Celtics, LA Dodgers, and New England Patriots. Peyton Manning was his favorite player. He loved his grandkids, his family, adored his wife, enjoyed dancing, watching golf (especially Tiger Woods), and watching Westerns. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Martin; parents, Henry and Tommie Martin; daughter, Glenda Martin; and 22 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his two sons, Wallace (Deanna) Martin, Jr. of Central City, Randall Gene Martin of Central City; three daughters, Pamela Gray, Belinda Kay Martin of Las Vegas, Latoya Phelps of Madisonville; grandchildren, Terrence Michael Martin (Fiancée Jessica Campbell), Myeisha Martin, Brianna Hastings, Markia Martin, Omarrion Wells, Willow Bolden, Latasha Allen, Tony Allen, and Kristel Allen; and great-grandchild, Ziya Winstead.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 11, 2022, at 12:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home with Bishop Jennifer Carney, Pastor Enoch Rich, and Rev. Otis Cunningham officiating. Burial in West End.
