Tommy G. Stokes, 84 of Sacramento,Ky passed peacefully Friday,May 18, at home. He is preceded in death by his wife Dee Ann Stokes, his mother Polly (Sorg) West and Bill Stokes. He was born February 13, 1934 in Rumsey Ky. He was a retired boat pilot for the Yankee town coal dock and served in the U.S Army.Tommy enjoyed being outdoors, and spending time with family, neighbors, and friends. He enjoyed watching sports, cooking, and family get togethers. He attended Sacramento methodist church where he was known as “The candy man”, he loved children. He also was a member of Sacramento Lions club. He is survived by his son Ricky (Melody) Robinson of Hanson. Two Grandchildren, Andrew (Heather) Robinson, and Ashton Robinson, Three Great Grandchildren, Cade King, Macy, Halle Robinson and special family and friends, The Capps, Groves and Paytons. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Rev. Michael Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Andy Groves, Steven Capps, Matt Capps, Josh Capps, Gage Capps, Landon Capps and Andrew Robinson.
