BEECH CREEK- Thelma Fay English, 81, of Beech Creek died Friday, December 29, 2023 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Ms. English was born in Muhlenberg County on January 21, 1942 where she worked in housekeeping for Maple Manor. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. English loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She spent a lot of her time in her garden and flower bed. Ms. English is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ethel Camplin; brothers, Boston Camplin, Johnny Camplin, Truman Camplin.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Mefford of Beech Creek; sons, Roger (Brenda) English of Beech Creek, Kenneth English of Beech Creek; sister, Linda (Herb) Jackson; grandkids, Kaitlyn, Kim, Chrissy, Jason, Daniel, Amy; several great grandkids; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
