Sonnie Jr was my dad’s first cousin. (James Alan Evans) Growing up they were very close. They stayed close even in adulthood. I remember many times as a child going to Burden Hill in Gishton where Sonnies parents lived. I would ask my dad why their yard only had dirt, not grass. He said it was because of all the children that played there. Grass didn’t have time to grown under their always moving feet. That stuck with me my entire life. It was a very happy hill indeed.
