BROWDER – Sharon Gwendolyn Whitmer, 68, of Browder, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 10:07AM at her residence.  Sharon was born December 1, 1952, in Muhlenberg County.  She was Postmaster at Drakesboro Post Office, and was a member of Browder Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Blanche Vincent; sisters Dale Bobo and Joannie Koller; and grandchild Brock Revo.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Whitmer; son Christopher (Elizabeth) Donovan; daughter Jennifer (Christopher) Scharfenberger; grandchildren Dylan Miller, Joshua Donovan, Brandon Donovan, and Shanna McPherson; brother Darrell (Sally) Vincent; and sisters Linda Rager Johnson, Brenda (Darreld) Phillips, Melody Mercer, and Debbie Aubrey.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 26, 2021, at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeremy Jessup officiating.  Burial in Old Jackson Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday after 11:30am at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
