GREENVILLE – Ronald Winford Scott, 68, of Greenville, died Sunday, May 5, 2019, at 2:15AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Scott was born January 18, 1951, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner with Peabody Coal Co. He was a Christian who has gone home. Mr. Scott loved rabbit hunting. He enjoyed all animals, especially Old English Sheep Dogs, beagles, horses, and mules. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Jennings Scott; father Winford Scott of Graham; brothers Brian (Tina) Scott of Graham and Barry (Dawn) Scott of Georgia; half-sister Lisa Rolley of Greenville; father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Nadine Jennings of Greenville; brother-in-law Keith (Sandy) Jennings of Greenville; several nieces and nephews; and great-great-nephew Wyatt. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Tommy Wilhite officiating, assisted by Bro. John Day. Burial in Graham Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 11:00AM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Muhlenberg County Humane Society.
