Robert J. Flener Robert J. Flener, 72, of Central City died at 6:05 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born April 17, 1937, in Muhlenberg County. He was self-employed and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Allie Flener; four brothers, Billy, Wally, Wayne and Ricky; a sister, Betty Ann; and a granddaughter, Ashley Hamilton. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Carneal Flener of Central City; two sons, Tim (Sarah) Flener and Tony (Angie) Flener, all of Greenville; two daughters, Susan (Randy) Hamilton of Philpot and Vicki Spence of Central City; grandchildren Jenny (John) Ladd, Mikey Flener, Kailee Flener, Logan Flener, Katie Sue Flener, Charity Fraizer, Drew Capps, Tiffany Flener, Tabitha (Toby) McKinney, Scottie Flener, Amber Rust, Michael Rust, Brandon Flener, Bobbie Flener, Samantha Flener, Kristen (Shane) McIntyre, Kourtney (Colton) Daniels, Logan Hamilton, Josh Spence and Whitney (Morgan) Spence; great-grandchildren Peyton, Aiden, Hunter and McKenzie Caitlyn; adopted Ponderosa grandchildren; brothers Lee Flener and Joe Flener; and two sisters, Dot Williams and Faye Neal. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. today at New Hope Cemetery in Moorman. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements.
