CENTRAL CITY – Rickie Lane Morehead, 63, of Central City died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Morehead was born June 3, 1959 in Evansville. He loved his dogs (Natalie and Yeager), his church (Powers Chapel General Baptist Church), and being outside in the mornings in his garden watching his tomatoes grow taller than he was. He was a great handyman and could fix most anything. Most importantly, he was very loyal to his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buell Lee, and Lucille Morehead; brothers, Jerry Morehead and David Morehead; and sister, Linda Stogsdill.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Morehead; sons, Matthew Markwell and Miles Michael; and brother, Ronnie Morehead; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Kerry Vincent officiating. Visitation will be 9:00AM at the funeral home.
