SACRAMENTO- Paul “Jerry” Moore, 72, of Sacramento died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville Indiana. Mr. Moore was born on November 15, 1944 in Owensboro. Mr. Moore was a Justice of the Peace for the Owensboro West District. He was a retired police officer of 25 years and owner and broker for Northstar Real Estate. He was a member of the Christian faith. Mr. Moore loved his hobbies (fishing, hunting, painting, sketching), enjoyed conversations with anyone and anyone that knew him knew the tails grew longer than the fish he caught. He was a veteran of the Air Force and loved his wife Sally of 48 years. Survivors include his wife, Alice “Sally”; daughter, Shannon (Larry) Wood of Sacramento; grandsons, James Wood and Jessee Wood; granddaughter, Heather (Nolan) Clouse; great grandchild, Liam Clouse; brothers, Larry (Scarlett) Moore of Frankfort, Chuck (Joellen) McGary of Hardinsburg; sister, Paula Moore of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial will be in Free Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the funeral home, and also starting at 9:00 AM until funeral time on Monday.
