GREENVILLE- Patricia Elizabeth Cobb, 83, of Greenville died Friday, August 1, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Cobb was born on March 31, 1942 in Providence, Kentucky. She was a member of Duvall’s Chapel General Baptist Church. Mrs. Cobb was a legal secretary in Calumet City, Il for 20 years, and eventually retired from Paradise Steam Plant in Drakesboro where she held several positions throughout her time there. She was active in several organizations and held many offices including past President of the Greenville Lions Club, past President of TVA Paradise Retirees, Director of Duvall’s Chapel Mercy Ministry, held many offices in Duvall’s Chapel Women’s ministry, and served as church secretary and Sunday school secretary for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cobb; mother, Margaret Schwandt; step-father, Oglesby Franklin; daughter, Kimberly Yvonne Braden; daughter, Deanna Lynn Doss; son, Robert William Janis; step-daughter, Willanda Phillips; step-son-in-law, Jerry Phillips.

She is survived by her son, Brett Allen (Jessica) Hadu; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many cousins; step-sons, Larry (Gina) Cobb, B.J. (Marsha) Cobb.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Duvall’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Greenville with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements.
