GREENVILLE – Nancy “G.” Mallory, 79, of Greenville, died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 7:50PM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro. Ms. Mallory was born January 23, 1945 in Muhlenberg County. She was a retired nurse for Muhlenberg Community Hospital and attended the Holiness Church. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gambling, playing bingo, and spending quality time with family that she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim, and Mossy Groves; son, Anthony Turner; several sisters and one brother; and Ray Lee Turner.
She is survived by her companion, Grover Matheney; children, Kathy (Herman D.) Knight of Greenville, Ray Lewis (Lesa) Turner of Drakesboro, and Brenda Ward of Drakesboro; grandchildren, Michelle Weber, Joe Knight, Kaitlyn Knight, Ricky Lee Turner, Tanya (Frank) Sharp, Lauren Turner, Tabatha (Jon) Hardison, and Dalton Ward; great-grandchildren, Jake Ward, Dakota Knight, Logan Knight, Nevaeh Edwards, Jayden Edwards, Leeland Knight, Woodson Knight, Ariana Chaplic, Addison Chaplic, Ayda Gunn, Axten Gunn , Corbin Rickman, Sadie Sharp, Eathan Strifler, Elayna Strifler, and Rumor Edwards; one great-great-grandchild, Gracelyn Knight; sisters, Dean (Jean) Jones, Dianne Whitaker, Bertha (Rocky) Hicks; and her dog, Razor.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Bobby Allen officiating. Burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
