CENTRAL CITY – Nancy Mae Epley, 87, of Central City, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 12:00PM at her home. Mrs. Epley was born May 28, 1933, in Muhlenberg County. She was owner and operator of Epley Family Care Home, and was a member of South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church. Nancy would help anyone that needed assistance, and that was the reason she started the Epley Family Care Center. It made her happy to care for others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton “Buster” Epley; sons Jerry Epley, Stuart Epley, and Jeffrey Epley; daughter-in-law Melissa Scott Epley; brothers Billy Rager and Bobby Rager; sisters Barbara Frakes and Wanda Revlette; and parents Arthur and Elsie Rager. She is survived by her sons, Lendle Epley, Ricky (Freda) Epley, Jimmy Epley, and Johnny Epley; daughters Sandra (Joe) Herman, Patricia Hancock, and Tina (Jeff) McRoy; sisters Edna Heady and Mary Jane Geary; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 31, 2020, at 12:00 noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Mike Neal officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 9:00AM at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
