Lendell Russ, 87, of Central City, died Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Hospice House in Bowling Green. Mr. Russ was born January 28, 1937, in Muhlenberg County. Lendell was retired co-owner of Russ Designs, along with his wife, Brenda Murphy Russ, which he managed along side her for 40 years, and was a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was an avid fisherman, and a talented musician, his passion being the steel guitar, and what he loved most was Friday night pickin with his family. Mr. Russ is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Shellie Russ; and his brother, Dillard Russ.

Lendell is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Brenda Murphy Russ; his two daughters, Kristi Curry (Chad Clark), Julie (Jimmy) Hodgkins; his grandchildren, Ryan Curry, Russ (Sarah) Curry, Lucy Hodgkins, Max Hodgkins; sisters, Sue (Bill) Vincent, Penny (David) Noffsinger, Joyce (Curtis) Lear, Sherry (Billy) Sharp, Janet (Keith) Casebier; and his brothers, Walton (Joann) Russ, Gayle (Sandra) Russ, Gary (Cheryl) Russ.

Services for Mr. Russ will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 12:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jeff Noffsinger officiating.
