GREENVILLE – Michael Van Sigers Sr., 75, of Greenville, died Monday, May 27, 2024 at 7:28AM at his residence. Mr. Sigers was born September 14, 1948 in Central City. He was a retired welder/fabricator for Brewco and a member of Powderly Holiness Church. He loved to hunt, fish, spend time in the woods, and was very active in his church. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecah Joice Sigers; parents, Woodrow and Edith Sigers; sister, Anna Jean Dodd; granddaughter, Ashley Sigers; and great-granddaughter, Ellie Sigers.
He is survived by his sons, Mikie (Vanessa) Sigers, Timothy (Tammy) Sigers, and Shawn (Kaylee) Sigers; grandchildren, Brittany (Jeremiah) Marsh, Kayla (Coty) Carroll, Michael (Kortney) Sigers, Chris Davis, Karissa Davis, Landon Sigers, and Stetson (Daishae) Sigers; great-grandchildren, Roman Sigers, Oliver Sigers, Jaden Thomas, Anniston Marsh, Keilyn Marsh, Waid Morris, Addilynn Carroll, and Carter Carroll; brothers, Wendell (Linda) Sigers, Kenny (Nancy) Sigers, Joe (Wanda) Sigers, Billy (Charlotte) Sigers, and Steve (Lisa) Sigers.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 31, 2024 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Ryan Morris officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
