Sacramento – Michael Day Rearden, 69, of Sacramento, died Saturday July 27, 2019 at Advent Health Care in New Smyrna Beach Florida. Mr. Rearden was born on October 23, 1949, in Hartford, KY. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching Western movies and feeding his pig Max. Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, most especially McKinnley and Freddie. A few of their special adventures include catching crabs at the beach, exploring Mammoth Cave, visiting Fort Caroline and other places in Florida, daily walks, camping and walking his dog Chloe. Survivors include his daughter Wendy DeMoss of Owensboro, KY, step sons Everett Lindsey, Ray (Debbie) Lindsey, and Kenny Lindsey, step daughter Kaye (Steve) Miles, and a grand daughter that was loved like a daughter Jessica (Fred) Coomes of Sacramento KY and their children McKinnley and Freddie; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, sisters Anna Smith, Lena Smiley, Betty (Tommy) Hoover, Earlene (Johnny) Haynes, Lydia (Chester) Phelps, Brothers Paul Rearden, and E.J. (Bettie) Rearden. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Rearden Funeral Services will be Saturday August 3, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento.With Bro. Jonathan Turner officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation will be Friday August 2, 2019, from 5:00-8:00 PM and Saturday after 8:00 AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. Lived next door to Mike & his sister, Lydia, from grade school thru high school. He was a wonderful & kind boy who grew into a wonderful man. He came from such a lovely family. Loved them all. My heart goes out to his family & loved ones. With Deepest Sympathy.
