CENTRAL CITY – Michael Alan McDonald, 61, of Central City, died Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 6:07AM at his home. Mr. McDonald was born January 15, 1957, in Fort Meade, Maryland. He retired from Kentucky Utilities in 2016 after over 30 years of service, and he was of the Methodist faith. He was passionate about his family, riding his Harley, Kentucky basketball, music, cars, and especially his three granddaughters. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Brian) Tompkins of Manitou and Amber (Justin) Slaton of Madisonville; grandchildren Abbie, Allie, and Journi; parents Patty and Billy McDonald of Evansville, IN; brother Tim (Stacy) McDonald of Newburgh, IN; and niece and nephew Hannah and Blake. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Don Garrett officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
