I’m so sad to hear of Mary’s passing.
I met her for the first time at Miracle Temple Church of God in 1992. She was the sweetest person to me. She actually was my husband’s (at the time), ex girlfriend and I didn’t care. She was so very nice and loving! It was a privilege to know her kids as well.
Joshua was actually in my Sunday School and I remember saying the sinners prayer with him at a very young age. I also remember April kept a beautiful continual smile all the time like her mom.
I have watched Mary’s journey on Facebook through her sickness and she has suffered so, but I know she was trusting Jesus for a miracle this year and boy did she receive it! She is seeing Jesus face to face and no longer sick. Her faith is now sight! Wow!
I also went to my Messenger messages and recapped a few conversations we had together in 2011 when I went through my divorce and she had just got with Billy. She was so very happy to have a man pray with her. She said she never had that before! She also was taking the time to see if I was ok and she prayed for me even in the midst of her happiness. She gave me a lot of hope.
And I now have the love I always wanted too!
Her trust in Jesus through it all was a beautiful testimony!
My prayers are with the family as they adjust to life without her. And I also pray they stay comforted in knowing she’s always with them in memory and that we will see her and Jesus very very soon ourselves! It won’t be long! She just got a head start!
