"Marthie" to me was a true example of my family history just like her mother and my mother from the "old school" way of life. She was caring, a hard worker, and always happy with a good word to share. My last memory of her was during one of my visits with her brother Dewey, standing and talking and laughing in the back yard. That is how I will remember her with family.
