GREENVILLE – Maggie K. “Edna” Pendley, 88, of Greenville, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 12:56AM at her home. Mrs. Pendley was born October 5, 1930, in Muhlenberg County. She was bookkeeper and owner of Pendley Lumber Company, and a member of Huntsville Baptist Church in Butler County. She had a green thumb, and loved plants and flowers both inside and outside. She also enjoyed fishing. She loved her family and had a special relationship with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Pendley; husband Robert Pendley; parents Ed and Maggie Knight; brothers Tom, Oscar, Buck, Judge, Roy, and James; and sisters Ila, Marie, Mae, Lucy, and Elsie. She is survived by her son, Leonard (Melva) Pendley of Drakesboro; daughter Faye (William) Kimmel of Beechmont; grandchildren Robert (Carol), Tracy (Melinda), Lisa, Maggie (Elijah), Robbie (Angela), and Tina (Roy); twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister Mattie Barnes. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 25, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Ron Noffsinger officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
