CENTRAL CITY- Lutitia Joan Wilder, 79, of Central City died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mrs. Wilder was born January 13, 1938 in Muhlenberg County. She was a music teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Wilder; and parents Everett and Ora Delle Wilkins and a brother Leslie Wilkins. Survivors include 3 brothers, Donnie(Linda)Wilkins of Greenville; Phil(Judy)Wilkins of Central City; and Micah Wilkins of Central City, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2017 at 12:00 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday after 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Wilder was my piano teacher and friend.

Mike, Bro Donnie and family, and Phil and family, I was sorry to read about Lutitia's death. I know she is now pain free and in heaven with Bro. and Mrs. Wilkins and Les Ed. I always admired the Wilkins family for their faith in God and the stand they take on the Bible. Lutitia could always be counted on to be at her place of service. She was the only Church organist I ever had and she was the best. Her dedication to Cedar Grove Church was unwavering. She has been a blessing to so many. I won't be able to make it in, but all of you will be in my prayers. God bless and keep you.

I am saddened to hear of Lutitia's passing. I took piano lessons from her for around 2 years and she taught me the basics as well as a lot of music theory and history. I remember so vividly her telling me stories of so many classical composers and how they lived and so many tragically died. She would many times take me home with her after church on Sunday and we would go anywhere I wanted to go for lunch. She was certainly a one of a kind jewel and her talent on the piano was phenomenal, a true loss to this world. God bless you all with peace and comfort during your time of loss and remembrance of Lutitia. She will always be a part of my childhood memories.

I remember her as my music teacher. She was so precious and she made us learn music ! I'm so sorry for her passing but she's not feeling no more pain!! R.I.P. Siing in the Heavenly Choir!!

Sorry to hear of her passing. She was one of a kind. You knew God was with her if you ever rode with her.I think of the song "Jesus take the wheel". Also thanks for always being our chaperone on our annual church camp weeks. Bill Rice Ranch was never the same. She will be missed.
