LEWISBURG – Lucian Hunt, Jr., 84, of Lewisburg, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:30AM at his residence. Mr. Hunt was born July 4, 1939 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired Coal Prep Manager from Amax Coal Co. and was a member of Myers Chapel United Methodist Church. He loved to spend time with the family and grandchildren. He taught Haley and Casey how to fish, whittle sticks, and drive on his family farm. Restoring old homes, fixing things, and cars, were among his favorite pastimes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine, and Lucian Hunt Sr.; sisters, Virginia Blankenship, Jeannie Miller, and Peggy Laughlin; and brother, John Hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hunt; sons, Jonathan Hunt of Ft. Thomas, KY and Gary Hunt of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Haley and Casey Hunt; sister, Jo Ann Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at Union Ridge Cemetery in Belton with David Anderson officiating and burial to follow.
