SEBASTIAN, FL – The world lost a beautiful woman. Lovelle Grimes Steele born January 23, 1927, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be in her final resting place in heaven on September 30, 2016, at the age of 89. She was born in Butler County, KY to the late Dora and Emanuel Grimes. She married her high school sweetheart, William E. Steele. Together they had three children, Gary William Steele, Sheila Ann Steele-Votzi and Angela (Warren) Cletzer. In 1957, they moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where they owned and operated Ace Concrete, and Ace Crane Service for many years. Upon retirement, they shared residence in Kentucky and Florida. Her son and her husband of 63 years predecease her. She leaves behind her two daughters, five grandchildren: Jason Michael Votzi (Allison), Roger Kouns (Janet), Chantel Kouns, Nathan Votzi, and Jaime S. Klekamp (Wayne); five great-grandchildren: Michael Logan Votzi, Elinor Kouns, Madison Votzi, Hayden Johnson and Annabeth Lovelle Kouns. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Burial will be at the Old Jackson Cemetery in Greenville.
