BELTON – Louise L. McElvain, 83, of Belton, died Monday, July 4, 2022, at 8:00AM at her daughter’s residence in Greenville. Mrs. McElvain was born September 17, 1938, in Penrod, KY. She was a machine operator at Flynn Clothing Factory, and a member of Leigh’s Chapel General Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and friends, and was an avid gardener. She loved her flowers and other things she grew. She was lovingly known as Mamaw Mac. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Mary Langley; brothers, Joe Langley, Earl Langley, and James Langley; and sister, Anna Bell Langley.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry McElvain; daughters, Jannifer (Ronnie) Carver of Greenville, Jean (Roger) Fox of Beech Creek, and Sheila Jo Smith of Greenville; grandchildren, JoDonna Carver, Johnna Fox, Isome Sapp, Leslee Higgs, Lacey Johnson, and Brittany Fox; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Roberta Langley and Fay Daniels; and brothers, Jim Langley and Bill Langley.
Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00AM at Union Ridge Cemetery, with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
