Lorine Oglesby Tinsley CENTRAL CITY — Lorine Oglesby Tinsley, 93, of Central City died at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born March 28, 1916, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Woodson Baptist Church in Powderly. Mrs. Tinsley was the widow of the late David Tinsley, and the daughter of the late Arthur and Naomi Oglesby. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Oglesby, and a sister, Eva Jean Edwards. Survivors include two sons, Craig (Diana) Haney of Central City and Charles (Anita) Haney of Cornelius, N.C.; six grandchildren, Dana Hardwick. Craig Haney Jr. and Janna Murphy, all of Central City, and Sabrina Yonkers, Scott Haney and Brian Haney, all of North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Scott Casebier officiating, assisted by the Rev. Travis Fox. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Powderly. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
