Lloyd Ray Groves 11/30/2008 GREENVILLE — Lloyd Ray Groves, 71, of Greenville died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at his daughter’s home in Beaver Dam. He retired from Muhlenberg County Board of Education as a custodian and was a member of Bard’s Hill General Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Shirley McElvain Groves; six children, Carla Sailing, Audra Nell McGuyer, Tina Cobb, John Ray Groves, Tracy Piper and Doug Groves; a brother, Terry Groves; and two sisters, Bonnie Sailing and Frankie Williams. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bard’s Hill General Baptist Church. Burial: Yeargins Chapel Cemetery in Graham. Visitation: After 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Lie in state: After 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
