He ruined me. Not in a way that most people would think of the word mind you. Perhaps, rather he ruined everyone else FOR me. That's absolutely what it is. Nobody compares or has even come close to the depth of concern and forethought you had for everything living thing you came in contact with... You stopped my mother from swating gnats at my wedding because you even cared about THEM. I hope wherever you may find yourself now you are still raising the bar. ❤️

Me and Justin always shared a love of bluegrass music. He showed me one of my favorite bands and I’ve been a fan ever since. He also took me to my first music festival. Such a good boy.

Words can not describe the love and admiration I have for you Justin. We may have not met in person but you were my best friend. To his parents, please know you raised an amazing, caring and truly passionate young man who I was blessed with knowing. Justin may be gone from earth but I will always carry him in my heart and memories.

Stan & Cathie - “I’m so sorry” is all we can say but seems to be so inadequate at this time. Just know you’re in our prayers. May God wrap his loving arms around you as only He can. We love you.

Justin was a good friend to me. Can't say we had much if any contact in the last decade, but there was a time where I considered him a close friend. Someone you could go chill with whenever and be guaranteed excellent conversation. Justin made you feel heard when you talked to him. His laughter was super contagious, and had this sound that reminded me of a time period neither of us existed in. Justin wanted to know the universe like many of us, we spent many late nights wondering the big questions, like, "why are we here?". Never found any answers but I swear it always felt like we were close to them. He loved, beyond loved music and could convey that love with an enthusiastic rant and while I can't remember exact conversations much anymore, I can remember that enthusiasm. I will miss him, and I will do my best to keep asking big questions, to keep that side of myself ingrained in my personality. In that way I will carry him and the others I have lost too soon with me as long as I'm allowed to keep going. Justin was inherently a good human being, this world is in massive short supply of good human beings and I will really miss him. I'm really glad I got to know him on some kind of level.

I was so saddened to hear about your loss. I worked with Justin at Meijer and he was a great person he was always helping me with the heavy pallets. He always had a smile and when I was down he always cheered me up.

Playing pool in the basement while you played DJ for Trinia and I. You introduced me to so many amazing artists. We debated politics and came up with some interesting conspiracy theories. You had such a good soul, and deserved so much better in life. I’ll miss you friend
