BURLESON, TX – John Wayne Vance, 74, of Burleson, Texas, died Monday, November 23, 2020, at 2:08AM at his home. Mr. Vance was born March 14, 1946, in Muhlenberg County. He was a foreman at a printing company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Damon and Margie Vance; and brothers David Vance and Roger Vance. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Jo James Vance; sons Joey (Vickie) Vance, Paul (Bert) Vance, and Doug (Leanne) Vance; daughter Theresa (Jeff) Budke; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sisters Carol (Dan) Chapman, Judy (Rich) Filip, and Robin (Mark) Kolmodin. So sorry to hear of John's passing. I knew him when he was a teenager. He was almost 4 years younger than me. He was always a quiet, mannerly person. My condolences go out to his family. May he Rest In Peace.

You were and always will be a great man and a part of my life. You were the one everyone could come to for anything at all, if you were able, and yet never asked for anything in return. You were like a second father to me as well as my children and you and I both know they all loved you dearly. You had jokes all the way up to the very end which just shows how much you always tried to entertain everyone else. You are and will be very missed. With all my love always!
