SACRAMENTO – John Wesley Taylor, Sr., 61, of Sacramento, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 1:00AM at his home. Mr. Taylor was born March 26, 1957, in New York. He was a coal miner and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Taylor; son Bennie Singleton; parents Wesley and Joanne Taylor; and brother Paul Taylor. He is survived by his son, John Wesley Taylor Jr.; daughters Cheryl Singleton and Samantha Singleton; several grandchildren; brothers Brian Taylor, Tom Taylor, Gary Taylor, and Daniel Taylor; and sister Mary Therese Everett. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Graveside services will be Saturday at 1:30PM at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, with burial to follow. Visitation will be Friday from 7-9PM at the funeral home.
