Mary Benson Turner left a message on September 8, 2022:
I am extending my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy with love and prayers to all of you! Mrs. Todd was a wonderful lady! I first had the pleasure of knowing her when Carolyn, my sister, married David. She graciously accepted us into her home and family. I remember sleep overs with Mary Beth, dinners on the back porch, running around the pond playing hide and seek, watching tv in the basement under many blankets, boating outings on Lake Barkley, family holiday/birthday dinners, and her extraordinary "green thumb' - she could grow anything - and beautifully, I might add! Her home was always immaculate, organized, warm and welcoming (a trait that was passed on to Leanna). I am so thankful for her love and influence in many people's lives, especially Leanna's. David, Mary Beth, and Leanna: I know you have many fond memories... may these precious treasured memories bring a smile as you celebrate her long life on Earth. She lives on in our memories and heart until we meet again, as our faith promises. What a reunion that will be! Love and prayers for peace and comfort, Mary
