GREENVILLE- Joan Guy Harper, 90, of Greenville died Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Harper was born in Muhlenberg County on July 10, 1933 where she worked in the kitchen for the Muhlenberg County Board of Education. She was a social butterfly and loved being around people. She loved life and any opportunity she had to dance. Her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the loves of her life. Mrs. Harper is preceded in death by her parents, Marshal and Francis Guy; daughter, Lynn Harper Martin; sister, Audrey Jett; brother, Bobby Guy; spouse, Woodrow Harper.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Mike) Ferguson; grandchildren, LaNa Lynn Fortney, Woodrow Neil Martin; great grandchild, Simon Martin; several nieces and nephews.
