January 13, 1951 - July 8, 2025

CENTRAL CITY – Jimmy Lee Holland, 74, of Central City, died Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:30PM at Madisonville Health and Rehab.  Mr. Holland was born January 13, 1951, in Muhlenberg County.  He was a retired construction worker at TVA, and attended Church Street Baptist Church.  Mr. Holland enjoyed watching UK basketball, and playing softball and corn hole.  He loved trips to the mountains, going to the beach, and fishing.  He also loved being surrounded by all eight of his granddaughters!  He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolann Holland; parents, Eura Lee and Howard Holland; and siblings, Jewell, Texal, Jerry, Jean, Brenda, and Debbie.

He is survived by his sons, Jimmy (Angie) Holland, Jr. and Chris (Missy) Holland; daughters, Melissa Terrell and Brianna Holland; siblings, Anne, Shirle, Ricky, and Billy; grandchildren, Carsha, Logan, Ariel, Autumn, Lexus, Zoey, Emileigh, and Samarra; great-grandchildren, Lainey and Briggs; and several nieces and nephews.

To all of my cousins. I want to say how truly sorry I am for your loss. I know loosing a brother/sister is never easy. I went to see Jimmy when he was in Greenville. I am sure glad I did. We had a good visit and he told everyone that came by that I was his cousin and told them my name. I want y’all to know that you will be in my prayers. I sure wish we would get together sometime. Joe
