GREENVILLE – Jimmy Ewing Jr., 43, of Greenville, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at 9:05PM at his home. Mr. Ewing was born January 26, 1973, in Muhlenberg County. He worked for the City of Greenville Street Department. He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Ewing. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Level Ewing; daughter Chelsea (Tyler) Alvey of Greenville; son Shannon (Becky) Level of Central City; grandchildren Kaylee Alvey, Jaydyn Alvey, Peyton Alvey, Kyndall Alvey, Alison Baxley, Andrew Stanley, Jaycee Level, Kamden Level, Kaleb Level, Kenadi Level, and Levi Murphy; mother Cathy (Brinkley) King of Greenville; father Jimmy (Jonelle) Ewing of Graham; brothers Robert (Vanessa) Ewing and Tom Ewing, both of Greenville; sister Elisabeth (Eric) Jarvis of Central City; and several half brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Friday, March 11, 2016, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Don Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. GRAHAM – Rev. Jimmy Ewing, Sr., 64, of Graham, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 12:03PM at his home. Mr. Ewing was born June 19, 1952, in Muhlenberg County. He was a mechanic and member of Lee Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Ewing, Jr.; parents Sonny and Mary Ewing; grandson Joshua Ewing; brother Clifford Ewing; and sisters Katheryn Brooks and Mary Lou Burden. He is survived by his wife, Jo Nell Evans Ewing; sons Robert (Vanessa) Ewing, Tom Ewing, and Thomas Kirby; daughters Elizabeth (Eric) Jarvis and Jo Ann (Aaron) Camplin; twelve grandchildren; brothers Danny (Sue) Ewing, Roger (Lindsey) Ewing, Tommy (Judy) Ewing, and David (Kristi) Ewing; and sisters Virginia (David) Rager, Shirley (Larry) Riley, Charolett (Michael) Dukes, Bonnie Ewing, and Tamela (Donald) Loney. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Alton Rolley officiating. Burial in Lee Hill Cemetery.
