He was a diesel mechanic for Ray Jones Trucking. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Keown Mudd; son, Todd (Kelly) Mudd; daughter, Tiffany Smith: grandchildren, Isaiah and Elizabeth Smith; sisters, Melody (David) Landrum, Judy (Dale) Jernigan; brother, Jason (Dawn) Mudd.
