Dr Dan Merlin left a message on October 9, 2016:
Chris and Mason,
I was so sorry to hear of Jen's passing. The last time I saw y'all she had been sick. It's hard to accept, I know, but, her pain and suffering is over now. I believe she is in a good place. There is no pain there, I know. I believe that she will look down on you and comfort you with good memories forever. As long as she is in your heart and memory, she will never die. That is how I take comfort when I think about my mom too.
Mason, always try to live up to the things your mom wanted for you; be the man she always wanted you to be. She was always so proud of you. At the end, when its your time to go, you can know two things. You lived the life she always hoped for you, and I believe she will be there waiting to meet you again. Hope and love is all we have to hold on to, and they never die.
Chris, all my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless you. Doc
