CENTRAL CITY – Jasper Lee “J.L.” Render, Jr., 98, of Central City, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 9:18AM at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson. Mr. Render was born February 28, 1923, in Muhlenberg County. He worked for the State Highway Department, and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Central City Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Mittie K. Render; and wife Juanita Render.

He is survived by his daughter, Denice Price-Jones of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren Diamond Anjae Price-Parham and Christian Jones; special cousins Debbie Drake and James Melvin Render; and a host of cousins and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, April 10, 2021, a 12:00 noon at West End Cemetery in Greenville, with Rev. Otis Cunningham officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021, from 5-8PM and Saturday after 9:30AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
