CALHOUN – Jason Keith Steward, 36, of Calhoun, died Monday, August 29, 2016, at 10:00PM at his home. Mr. Steward was born February 10, 1980, in Greenville. He was a self-employed painter and a member of Masonville Baptist Church. He loved his dog, Frasey. He also loved frisby golf, fishing, and was a great cook. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved children. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Steward; and grandfather, Leonard Grubbs. He is survived by his mother, Robyn Woodford of Cordyn; sisters Amy (Bobby) Wright of Calhoun and Elizabeth Steward of Owensboro; grandmother Jean Smith; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Funeral services will be Friday, September 2, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Kimbrough Simmons officiating. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

I miss my big brother. We used to laugh about everything. I caught my first fish with him. He was always there to help me with my life.

Dirt I miss you man

Jason, I've known you since I was a little girl. You would tease me in a sisterly way. I never knew what a black light was. When you showed me your room full of black lights & glow in the dark you were the coolest in my young eyes. I was only 10 then. You gave me such good advice when I was down. When I became a young woman, I will never forget how you caught me off guard by calling my name. I looked at you, & you told me how proud you were of me. That I had created at good life for myself. I left your mom's house & cried. I hadn't heard anyone tell me how proud they were of me. I do love & miss you Jason. Robyn, Amy, Beth, & Hailey, I love you all so much. You guys will always be my family, always & forever!
