WHITE PLAINS- James Thomas “Tommy” Majors, 54, of White Plains, KY gained his heavenly home on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Baptist Health Madisonville after losing his battle to Covid. Born in Herrin, Illinois in 1966 to Jessie O. Majors and Daisy B. Harvey, Tommy grew up in White Plains, KY, and married his “Angel” in 1990. He loved his family, fishing, and talking about the Lord. Tommy never met a stranger. Of the many jobs that he held in his lifetime, his favorite stories were about being a hog farmer. His last position before becoming disabled was at Hart Equipment in Madisonville, where he found joy in fellowship with his co-workers. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Meadow (Johnson) Majors; daughters, Jessica (Lucas) Menser and Holly Majors; Aunt, Letha Wells; sisters Katherine (Wade) Hamilton, Pamela Earl, Phyllis (Scotty) Phelps; brothers Jessie Majors, David Harvey; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved stepfather Donda Harvey. He is preceded in death by both parents; sisters Peggy Pleasant, Joyce Dugan; sister-in-law Gay Majors; brother Roger Majors; and brother-in-law James Pleasant. Tommy touched many people with his kind heart and helping hands. We will miss him here on earth, but he is rejoicing with the Lord! Funeral services will be private.
