CENTRAL CITY – James Randal Kelm, 86, of Central City died Friday, February 10, 2017, at 2:16 PM at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Kelm was born August 11, 1930, in Blackwater, Missouri. He was a retired Barber and a member of First Baptist Church of Central City. Mr. Kelm was also a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by three daughters, Belinda Baker of Lawrence, Kansas; Rhonda Cain of Youngstown, Florida and Regina Bourassa of Owensboro, KY; Three sisters, Mary Wilda Gossett of Plano, Texas; Joyce Tucker of St. Petersburg, Florida and Lavon Jarvis of Bremen, KY. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Chase Thompson officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 5:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Masonic Services will also be held on Sunday at 6:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Randal was my business(barber shop) partner in Central City in late 1967 and part of 1968. The reason I left the business was because I went into the Army. Randal seemed to always find a way to spread joy and laughter to those he came in contact with. He and Phyllis were good to Shirley and I (newly weds at the time). May the Lord strengthen his family.
