DRAKESBORO – James Dean Ewing, 57, of Drakesboro, died Monday, June 8, 2020, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Ewing was born August 8, 1962, in Chicago, IL. He was a small engine mechanic. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Ewing; parents Billy and Elizabeth Ewing; and sisters Christine Ewing, Joanna Ewing, and Patricia Knight. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Ben) Kinney of Russellville; sons Christopher Ewing of DeQuoin, IL and Jesse (Catherine) LeGrand of Central City; brothers John (Jenny) Ewing of Drakesboro and William (Tammy) Ewing of Central City; sister Patsy (Jerrel) Ewing of Madisonville; and four grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 7:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Curtis McGehee officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-9PM at the funeral home.
