SOUTH CARROLLTON – James Millard Eades, 86, of South Carrollton, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 3:00PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Eades was born October 5, 1930, in Muhlenberg County, to the late Arvall and Grace Eades. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Central City, a graduate of Bremen High School Class of 1949, and a member of Central City Country Club. He was an all district basketball player at Bremen High School and played semi-pro baseball for the Central City Reds. He attended Campbellsville College, was an Air Force veteran, a KHSAA referee, and a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marilyn Kay Eades; children Kyle (Danielle) Eades of South Carrollton and Lori (Carlos) Tatum of Central City; grandchildren Lauren Jill (Daniel) Mercer and James Kaden Eades; great-grandchildren Tate and Livia Jane Mercer; sister Mary Virginia (Cal) Pigman of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday, May 19, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Chase Thompson officiating, assisted by Rev. Kevin Reed. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church Central City Benevolence Fund, Mt.
