She is survived by her husband, Brad Smith; son Bradley Smith; parents Cecil and Carolyn Arnold; brother Jason Arnold; sister Cathy Proctor; and niece Monica Browning. Funeral services are private. Ivy was an intelligent, generous, and caring soul. I am honored to say that she was my friend. I was so saddened to read of her passing. I remember her love of reading, zest for life, and desire to be a mother. I am so glad to know that she had her son, Bradly. Ivy stood by me during and after I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and became a permanent wheelchair user. She even had a ramp built at her residence, so I could come to visit with her. I will never forget her kindness and friendship. To her family, I send love and prayers.
